1/4 inch glitter foil backed glass tiles made from crystal clear, high quality float glass that is 1/7 inch thick (4mm) the glitter foil is epoxy bonded onto the back. To protect the finish and make the color more stable and hard wearing a layer of fusible material is applied and heat bonded onto the back passing the tiles through a linear kiln. This results in exceptional resistance to chipping and peeling when nipping these tiles. The firing of the tiles rounds and softens the edges for a lovely smooth surface. Frost resistant but NOT UV resistant. The color will slowly fade if put in direct sun light.
